RODENTS

WHAT & WHY?

We have three main problematic rodent species in Australia which can be responsible for damage to crops in rural areas, damage to buildings through gnawing and contamination of food and living spaces through their faeces.

Rodents are nocturnal and leave a distinct, pungent odour in your house.

HOW TO MANAGE RODENTS
  • Store food in an airtight container

  • Reduce household and garage clutter and garden rubble

  • Place rubbish in external bins each night

  • Pick up dog faeces, clear up aviaries regularly of bird/chicken feed

HOW CAN I TELL IF WE HAVE RODENTS?
  • You find droppings in the pantry and cupboards

  • You hear scratching and scuttling in the roof void at night

  • You find gnawing damage to conduit, ducting, electrical wiring

  • You find nests in the shed, aviary or chicken coup

TREATMENT

We will  ascertain the problem areas and then bait.

Dependent on the infestation, some areas requiring baiting may include the roof void, rear of kitchen cupboards, behind the fridge, internally and the garden shed, garage, externally.
