TIMBER PEST INSPECTIONS

Timber pests such as termites are notorious for causing costly damage to properties.

When purchasing a new property it is recommended that as a buyer you include a special condition, commonly referred to as 'White Ant Condition'.

A White Ant Condition should make the terms of the timber pest inspection clear and verifiable.

Quinns Districts Pest Management can complete a timber pest inspection in accordance with Australian Standard 4349.3 - 1998. This is the nationally accepted standard for timber pest inspections and reports. This inspection is to all areas of the property including:

  • roof timber

  • internal areas

  • outbuildings

  • fencing

  • everything in between

We inspect for:

  • termites

  • wood decay fungi

  • borer

We recommend that timber pest inspections are completed 2 to 3 weeks out from the settlement date of the property.

We take photos to include in the report to help describe and explain what we are reporting specifically at your new property. We will email the report to the buyer and the buyers settlement agent. The invoice too, is submitted to the settlement agent for payment at settlement.

Once you receive the report, we welcome enquiries by phone at any time, including after hours as we work from home and are contactable most of the time.

We are fully licensed with the Health Department of WA and insured for your peace of mind.
